As Purchasing Specialist you will be responsible for purchasing goods according to the schedule and needs. You will secure the on-time delivery as well as the budget within the purchasing processes. You will work in close co-operation with purchasing team, suppliers, and other stakeholders. You are able to ensure a competitive cost level in an efficient bidding process. In addition, you will participate in the selection of suppliers, ensuring that technical, quality, schedule and cost-effective requirements in procurement are met. Due to our international operations, fluent communication in English and willingness to travel are essential elements for your success in this role. Other language skills are considered a plus.
Your preferred location is Rauma. However Turku, Tampere and Helsinki area are also possible, if only you are able to travel to Rauma occasionally.

To succeed in this role:
You have proven experience (minimum 3 years) in purchasing, from simple spare parts to complicated equipment in workshop and steel products. Your communication and team work skills are excellent. You are used to co-operate with several interfaces, also in international level. You have technical/engineering or commercial education. You have an accurate, active and energetic working style. Understanding of workshop production is a benefit.
